UAE-ites Can Now Fly Directly To Santorini For AED 179 ONLY

Greece is now open to vaccinated travellers, which means that vaccinated UAE travellers can travel to Greece’s Aegean archipelago- Santorini, without having to quarantine on arrival. And if you are already making plans to visit Santorini this summer, how about booking a ticket for just AED 179? Sound’s like a joke? Well, trust us, it’s not! Read on to know more.

Wizz Air Is Offering One Way Flights For As Low As AED 179
Abu Dhabi’s budget airline, Wizz Air, is now operating a direct flight from Abu Dhabi to Santorini, and that too, with fares starting from AED 179. However, there’s a slight catch. No, there’s no insane airport taxes or something, but it’s just that- this price is for a one-way direct airfare ticket, which still is a crazy deal.

UAE Travellers Need Not Quarantine On Arrival In Greece
The direct flight services will function from July 2 and fly to Santorini twice a week, Monday and Friday. You can book the tickets on wizzair.com and their mobile app. We recently checked Wizz Air’s site and found out that you can now get the lowest fairs in August, and the fare includes one carry-on bag too. The rates start from AED 179, and they range between AED 200-300, which is a steal. The return flights at present are expensive, considering they don’t include checked luggage. So getting a one-way ticket for as low as AED 179 is insane.

And if you are planning to visit Santorini, you must know that you don’t need to undergo quarantine on arrival. You have to provide a negative PCR test taken not more than 72 hours ago before the arrival. And you also need to have a certificate, which proves that you are vaccinated. Children 5 years of age and under are exempted. The vaccination needs to have been completed at least 14 days before arrival to Greece.

Besides Santorini, Wizz Air also operated two other flights a week to Athens and Thessaloniki.
