Paid tier offers unlimited AI chat and skills, marking the startup’s first subscription revenue
Unlimited AI for paying users
The Browser Company has introduced a $20/month Pro subscription for its new AI-driven web browser, Dia. The plan unlocks unlimited access to Dia’s AI chat and “skills” features, which help users summarize content, answer questions, and perform web tasks directly in the browser.
Free users will now face usage limits on AI features. While the company hasn’t disclosed the exact cap, CEO Josh Miller told The New York Times that free access will cover those who use AI “a few times a week.”
More tiers to come
Miller has indicated that the company plans to roll out multiple subscription levels, ranging from $5/month to several hundred dollars depending on features. The $20 plan appears to be a mid-tier offering.
The Pro option was briefly spotted online earlier this week by users on Reddit and Threads before being taken down; it has now been officially restored and is accessible through Dia’s settings page.
