Latest LockStar update resolves major One UI 7 issues for smoother Galaxy phone experience

Samsung’s One UI 8 update brings much-needed relief to users who faced persistent issues with the One UI 7 release. Galaxy owners had reported several bugs, especially concerning the lock screen. These problems impacted the overall user experience—particularly for those who rely on Good Lock’s LockStar module for customization.
The new LockStar version 7.0.01.5 is now available and delivers not only compatibility with One UI 8 but also resolves three of the most frustrating bugs.
1. Lock Screen Clock Finally Works Correctly
Issue fixed: The lock screen clock was previously unresponsive and misaligned, making it unreliable.
- Users found that the clock wouldn’t update or display the correct time.
- In some cases, the alignment was off, affecting the visual balance of the lock screen.
- With One UI 8, the clock now updates in real time, aligns properly, and responds to changes as expected.

2. Lock Screen Widgets Load Smoothly Again
Issue fixed: Widgets failed to load or threw display errors on the lock screen.

Now, the update ensures widgets load correctly and display content without errors, restoring seamless lock screen interactivity.
3. ‘Extend Unlock’ Icons Now Display Properly

How to Get the Update
If you’re on One UI 8, you can now install the updated LockStar module:
- Open the Galaxy Store
- Tap the Menu (≡) icon
- Select Updates
- Download LockStar version 7.0.01.5
This will enable One UI 8 support and apply all the mentioned bug fixes.
