One UI 8 Beta 2 Rolls Out to Galaxy S25 Series in Germany, the US, and UK

Beta 2 expands beyond Korea
Samsung is now rolling out One UI 8 Beta 2 to Galaxy S25 series users in Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom, following its initial release in South Korea. The update, marked by a build version ending in ZYF3, brings major fixes and refinements based on early beta feedback.
- The OTA update weighs approximately 1.2GB and is available for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra devices enrolled in the beta program.
What’s new in One UI 8 Beta 2?
New Feature:
- Samsung has added a user feedback interpretation tool to enhance communication and diagnostics during the beta program.
UI and Widget Fixes:
- Issues with the morning briefing screen and text misalignment have been corrected.
- Battery widget icon and lock screen widget sizes have been optimized.
Bug Fixes and Stability Enhancements:
- Resolved fingerprint authentication failures in Secure Folder.
- Fixed Bluetooth volume drops during car calls.
- Restored notification sounds during gaming sessions.
- Re-enabled Galaxy AI wallpapers for weather and time.
- Addressed gesture recognition lags and the Air Command icon bug with the S Pen.
- Stabilized writing performance in Naver Blog and fixed KakaoTalk notification repetition.
- Corrected alarm reliability in the Clock app.
Samsung also updated several system apps, including the Camera app, to improve overall system stability and reduce glitches observed in the previous beta build.

This update is part of Samsung’s ongoing effort to fine-tune One UI 8 ahead of its official Android 16-based release later this year.
