Final batch of Galaxy phones and tablets to receive Android 15-based One UI 7 next month
As May 2025 wraps up, Samsung has released a revised One UI 7 rollout roadmap for Galaxy devices that have yet to receive the Android 15-based update. The updated schedule targets June 2025 as the completion window for the remaining eligible models, mainly covering mid-range smartphones and tablets in select markets like Germany.

Samsung has already delivered One UI 7 to most of its flagship models globally, along with the May 2025 security patches to strengthen device security and stability. Several mid-range phones and tablets are already receiving the update as part of the late-May push.

Samsung notes that rollout start dates can vary, with some updates arriving ahead of schedule and full distribution completing by end of June 2025.
What’s next: One UI 8 Beta on the horizon
While One UI 7 continues rolling out, Samsung is already gearing up for the One UI 8 Beta Program. A new notice in the Samsung Members app outlines simplified registration and enhanced beta participation features, indicating that the Android 16-based test phase is nearly ready to launch.
With One UI 8 Beta expected in June, Samsung aims to overlap final One UI 7 rollouts with the early testing of its next major update, maintaining a steady software momentum.
