With One UI 8, Samsung has streamlined the options, removing Adaptive as a standalone setting. The system now includes:

- Maximum: Remains intact, offering manual charge limit selection.
- By embedding Adaptive within Basic, Samsung has created a fail-safe design that defaults to Basic when it can’t determine user behavior.
