2022 BMW X3 Launched, Priced From Rs. 59.90 Lakhs

BMW India has introduced the 2022 X3 with a base asking price of Rs. 59.90 lakhs (ex-showroom), today. The luxury SUV will be available in 2 petrol variants for now, while the diesel variant will arrive later.
The refreshed third-generation X3 is available in Black Sapphire, Brooklyn Grey, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, and Sophisto Grey exterior colours.

The 2022 X3 has new design elements with a comprehensive visual refresh, especially the X elements. New features include the kidney grille, front bumper, and LED headlights with matrix functions.

On the air vents, there are newly electroplated trim elements, At the back, the luxury SUV has brand-new LED tail lamps with a black border and new flush-fitting and larger tailpipe trims. The M Sport variant has larger air inlets, a revised rear bumper, and a dark shadow diffuser.

The interior of the car features Sensatec perforated upholstery (Canberra Beige and Cognac) as standard. Of course, the equipment list is rather large and includes a sport steering wheel, electric seats with memory, an exterior mirror package, panoramic glass roof, welcome light carpet, ambient lighting, and 3-zone automatic climate control.

In addition, BMW ConnectedDrive technologies such as gesture control and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are on offer along with other goodies like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 16-speaker (464 W) Harman Kardon Surround Sound system, paddle shifters, cruise control and Parking Assistant Plus with 360 camera. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloys, while 20-inch ‘M’ alloy wheels are also available.

The current top-spec M Sport variant comes with sports seats, M leather steering wheel and M interior trim. As for practicality, the SUV has a boot capacity of 550 liters and 40/20/40 split rear seat backrest.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol motor making 248 BHP and 350 Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox sends the engine’s power to all 4 wheels and the car can sprint from 0-100 km/hr in 6.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 235 km/hr.

Furthermore, the 2022 BMW X3 comes with adaptive suspension, electronically controlled Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks (ADB-X), 4 driving modes and a whole host of safety tech. BMW Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus packages are optionally available with the X3
