Chevrolet announced that the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV will be released in the fall of 2023. The 2024 Equinox EV will be available at dealerships throughout the United States and abroad. Chevy will offer both fleet and retail versions of the 2023 Equinox EV, including the LT and LS trims.
How much does the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV cost?
According to Chevrolet, the starting price for the 2024 Equinox EV will be around $30,000. GM did not reveal how much each Equinox EV trim costs, including the LT and LS trims. It is also possible to offer a base LS trim and a top-tier Premier trim for the electric crossover SUV.
2024 Chevy Equinox EV specifications: Electric range, battery, charging, and horsepower
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV has few details, and however, it is expected to have a driving range of about 300 miles. The Equinox EV will be built on the same Ultium platform as other electric vehicles from Chevrolet and GM. Battery packs for the Ultium platform range from 50 kWh to around 200 kWh. Fast-charging capabilities will also likely be available on the Equinox EV.
Currently, the Chevy Bolt EUV crossover does not offer an all-wheel-drive system, but the Equinox EV will have two electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system. Therefore, the Bolt EUV will have a higher horsepower output than the 200 hp generated by a single electric motor.
Exterior and interior design of the 2024 Equinox EV
Besides the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it’s hard to resist the attractive exterior design of the 2024 Equinox EV. The Equinox EV shares a name with the current gas-powered Equinox, but it’s very different from it on the outside. A crossover SUV that blends futuristic elements with traditional features, instead of being straight.
The Equinox EV’s cabin features a similar digital dashboard to the recently unveiled Silverado electric truck. As well, the touchscreen appears to be similar to the one in the Cadillac Lyric, with a tall center console. Most of the styling themes throughout the rest of the Equinox EV’s cabin are similar to those found in the Bolt EUV crossover and Bolt EV hatchback.
