The BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition is available in India today with a starting price of Rs. 53.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai exclusively for the Indian market, only limited units of the car are available on the firm’s Online Shop.
The 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition is available in three exterior colour options: Carbon Black, Cashmere Silver, and Mineral White.
On the outside, the new BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition features an ‘Iconic Glow’ kidney grille, while inside, the luxury sedan has a crystal gear knob, coat hanger and rear seat headrest cushions.
Based on the Luxury Line variant of the 3-Series Gran Limousine, the Iconic Edition has features such as LED headlamps and tail lights, welcome light carpet, illuminated door sill plates, and a panorama glass sunroof.
Further, the luxury sedan also has comfort seats, Vernasca leather upholstery (Cognac or Black), sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, 3-zone automatic climate control, 12.3-inch digital cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, parking assist with reverse assist, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android and 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system.
255 BHP and 400 Nm of torque are generated by the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine in the petrol version of the luxury sedan. The diesel model also comes with a turbocharged 2.0-litre motor with 189 BHP and 400 Nm of torque.
The 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission is mated to both motors. In addition, the car offers paddle shifters, driving modes like Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, launch control, cruise control with braking function, auto start-stop, and a whole host of safety features.
