Ducati Unveils New Diavel Power Cruiser Globally

Ducati is among the few motorbike brands that have adapted to the post-pandemic era. While the rest of the industry has been waiting for the seemingly dead EICMA to showcase new models, the guys in Bologna have the World Premiere Series, which runs all year.

Also, Ducati has unveiled seven bikes in its 2022 edition so far, and three more are expected to be unveiled by March 10th. Surprisingly, one of the three motorcycles will be unveiled tomorrow, February 17th. This motorbike appears to be a variation of the Diavel.

According to reports, the Panigale V4 R or the Panigale V4 SP2 are expected to be the other two. However, because the Hypermotard, Monster, and SuperSport 950 were not included in the last World Premiere Series, we may anticipate them to be updated as well.

Nonetheless, we won’t have to wait long to find out, as the first motorbike was shown today. Ducati is likely to deliver these motorcycles to India in the second half of this year. In terms of the Indian market, Ducati India is expected to debut the new motorcycles in the coming months.

The Streetfighter V2 will be one of Ducati’s most important models to be introduced in India. This bike is positioned lower in the range than the Streetfighter V4, yet it has the same engine as the Panigale V2. In other words, think of it as a stripped-down Panigale V2. The 955cc Suprquadro V2 engine on this bike produces 153 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 101Nm at 9,000 rpm. The DQS EVO 2 two-way quickshifter is also available in six speeds.

The company has already unveiled many motorcycles, and this one will be included in their MY22 lineup. It is expected that the Panigale V4 R or Panigale V4 SP2 will be the last versions following the debut of the Diavel trim. Innovations to bikes like the Hypermotard, Monster, and SuperSport 950 are also on the way in the coming months.
