Harley-Davidson X440 T Debuts in India
Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have officially launched the X440 T, expanding their 440cc motorcycle lineup in India. Priced at âš2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the X440 T is now the flagship model in Harleyâs sub-500cc range, offering premium features and improved performance.
- The X440 T builds on the success of the standard X440, which debuted in July 2023 as the brand’s most accessible bike.
- Bookings for the X440 T and other 440 models begin on December 7, 2025, via Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships, as well as online platforms.

Whatâs New on the X440 T?
While the X440 T retains the familiar 440cc air-and-oil-cooled engine, it introduces a host of electronic and ergonomic enhancements aimed at delivering a more refined riding experience.
Key Functional Upgrades:
- Ride-by-Wire throttle for smoother and more responsive acceleration
- Two riding modes â Road and Rain, enhancing adaptability to varying conditions
- Switchable traction control for added safety and control
- Switchable rear ABS for better rider customization
- Segment-first Panic Braking Alert where all indicators flash under sudden deceleration to warn trailing vehicles
Comfort & Design Tweaks:
- Redesigned rear sub-frame with new tail section and grab rails, improving pillion comfort
- Slightly reworked fuel tank and new exhaust system with updated catalytic converter, heat shield, and end can
- Improved wiring layout and refined switchgear for better usability
Revised X440 Lineup and Pricing
To make the entire 440 range more competitive, Harley-Davidson has slashed prices on other models:

- CVO Road Glide â âš67.36 lakh (ex-showroom)
Powering both is the Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine, delivering 115 HP and 189 Nm, paired with iconic Harley styling:
- Road Glide features the Sharknose fairing
- Street Glide wears a restyled Batwing fairing
Both get:
- 12.3-inch TFT display with Skyline OS infotainment
- Premium audio systems and exclusive paint schemes
Expanded Softail Family in India
Harley-Davidson also updated its entire Softail cruiser family, now offered with three performance levels of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine:

- Custom
- High Output
