Hero MotoCorp has rolled out the Xtreme 160R 100 Million Limited Edition at Rs 1,08,750. Compared to the Single Disc and Double Disc variants, the new special edition is around Rs 1800 and Rs 4850 more expensive respectively. While the Xtreme 160R Single Disc variant is available Rs 1,03,900 and the Double Disc model costs Rs 1,06,950. All prices are ex-showroom. The Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Limited Edition celebrates the brand’s achievement of marking 100 million cumulative production milestone in the country. The 100 millionth unit (Xtreme 160R) was rolled out from the brand’s Haridwar based facility.
The new body graphics and dual-tone (White and Red) paint scheme with blacked-out parts are the major highlights of the new Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Limited Edition. Its half of the rear cowls are painted in White shade and have red graphics with 160R badging. The red front fender, fuel tank extensions, headlamp mask and side panels further enhance its sporty appeal. The Hero Xtreme 160R limited edition has ‘100 Miliion Limited Edition’ badging on the fuel tank.
Features such as LED headlamp, LED indicators, minimal cowls, dual-tone fuel tank, a heavily contoured single-piece seat and smoked-out LED taillamp with ‘H’ signature are carried forward from the regular model. The new Hero Xtreme 160R limited edition continues to feature a fully digital inverted LCD instrument console, side stand engine cut-off and hazard lights.
Similar to the regular model, the special one comes fitted with the 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 100/80-17 front and 130/70-R17 rear tyres. The new Xtreme 160R special edition features a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The bike’s base variant comes with a 130mm rear drum brakes and a single-channel ABS.
For power, the new Hero Xtreme 160R Limited Edition uses the same 163cc air-cooled engine benefited with fuel injection technology. It has been tuned generating power worth 15bhp against 14Nm of torque. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed gearbox. The Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Limited Edition has kick starter along with the standard starter motor. It’s capable to achieve 0 to 60kmph in 4.7 seconds. The bike’ kerb weight stands at 139.5kg.
