Honda has launched the Africa Twin Adventure Sports in India with a price tag of Rs. 16.01 lakhs for the MT variant and Rs. 17.55 lakhs for the DCT variant (all prices, ex-showroom).
The MT variant is offered in Pearl Glare White Tricolor while the DCT comes in Mat Ballistic Black Metallic colour. Unfortunately you can’t choose a different colour. The motorcycle is built locally in India and is exclusively available at Big Wing Topline showrooms across the country.
The bike is powered by a 1082.96cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve parallel twin engine with overhead camshaft (OHC) type valve system that produces 98 PS at 7500 RPM and 103 Nm at 6000 RPM.
Technology-wise, the bike is equipped with a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), 2-Channel ABS, and HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control). There are four riding modes – Tour, Urban, Gravel, and Off-Road.
Honda has equipped the Africa Twin with telescopic front suspension and pro-link rear suspension.
The control screen has been readjusted for better visibility while riding. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
