Tata Tigor EV Facelift: Base Price – Rs. 11.99 lakh 

Tata Motors has introduced the new Tigor EV in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.99 lakh for the entry-level XE variant and ranging up to Rs 12.99 lakh for the top-of-the-range XZ + (O) variant. In addition to a 26-kWh lithium-ion battery, the car has a new Permanent Magnet Synchronous electric motor that produces 170 Nm of torque and 55 kW of power. The lithium-ion battery has an eight-year warranty. 

Skoda Kushaq 

Starting Price: Rs. 10.79 lakh

Kushaq, a compact SUV that will compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, will be built in India using the MQB-A0-IN version of Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Toolkit. Two engines will be available for the new Kushaq: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI and a 1.5-liter TSI. The 1-liter engine produces 115 horsepower, while the 1.5-liter engine produces 150 horsepower. Skoda only offers petrol engines with the Kushaq. The company will offer both a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission with this car. The SUV will also be available with a seven-speed DSG transmission.

Volkswagen Taigun

Staring price – Rs. 10.54 lakh

With this mid-size SUV, Volkswagen will compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Design and styling are based on the global-spec VW T-ROC SUV. The car features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an all-digital instrument console, wireless charging, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, automatic air conditioning, a sunroof, and cruise control. 

New-gen Force Gurkha 

Starting price – Rs. 13.59 lakh

This car is one of the best off-road SUVs within this price range. It will be powered by a 2.6L turbo-diesel engine that generates 91 PS and 250 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is also a four-wheel-drive system, a low-ratio transfer case, and manual locking differentials (front and rear).

Mahindra XUV700 

Starting price – Rs. 12.49 lakh

The much-anticipated Mahindra XUV700 was unveiled on August 14th at 4 p.m. Pricing for the AX3 petrol trim is 13.99 lakh. The petrol AX5 variant has been priced at 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom prices).
