KTM Reveals 2026 450 Rally Replica, Only 5 Units of Sanders Edition Worldwide

2026 KTM 450 Rally Replica and Sanders Edition Unveiled, Limited to Just 150 Units Globally

KTM has officially revealed the 2026 450 Rally Replica along with an ultra-rare Sanders Edition, offering rally enthusiasts a chance to own a factory-spec Dakar-level machine. These limited-production bikes are hand-built in Austria and engineered for serious rally raid performance.

Production Details and Rarity

Only 150 units of the standard 450 Rally Replica will be manufactured, while the Sanders Edition, celebrating Daniel Sanders’ 2024 Dakar Rally win, is limited to just 5 units worldwide.

  • The Sanders Edition comes with Red Bull factory livery, a signed Daniel Sanders sticker kit, Michelin rally race tyres, and an extra set of street-legal wheels.

Race-Spec Power and Chassis

At its core is a 450cc SOHC single-cylinder engine, paired with a reinforced clutch and strengthened gearbox.

  • A dual-radiator system ensures optimal cooling, and the titanium AkrapoviÄŤ exhaust system reduces weight while enhancing performance.
  • The chassis is a laser-cut, hydro-formed steel trellis frame, hand-welded for maximum strength and rigidity.

Advanced Rally Equipment

Fuel capacity stands at 34.5 litres, thanks to a rear-mounted 16-litre tank and dual front tanks of 9L and 9.5L, integrated into the subframe.

  • Suspension duties are handled by WP XACT PRO components, including 48mm closed-cartridge cone valve forks and a Scotts steering damper.
  • The cockpit features a carbon-fibre navigation tower with a digital roadbook, and optional paper navigation setup.

Purpose-Built for Competition

These aren’t just rally-styled bikes — both versions are fully capable competition machines, designed for privateers and professional teams.

  • As such, the 450 Rally Replica is unlikely to be officially sold in India, given its exclusivity and race-specific nature.

With KTM continuing to dominate the rally world, these limited-edition models offer a rare opportunity for die-hard fans to own a piece of racing pedigree — both in performance and exclusivity.
