Lamborghini Celebrates Centro Stile’s 20 Years with Bold Manifesto Reveal

Celebrating 20 years of Centro Stile, Lamborghini’s Manifesto concept hints at the evolution of its signature styling—without being a production preview.

A Design-Only Vision for Lamborghini’s Future

Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off the Manifesto concept, a pure design study created to celebrate 20 years of Centro Stile, the brand’s in-house design studio. While it won’t go into production, the Manifesto provides a bold visual statement of where Lamborghini design is headed.

“We gave adrenaline a shape,” said Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s design chief, describing the concept as a visionary sculpture rather than a functional prototype.

Classic DNA, Modern Simplicity

  • Wedge-shaped profile and mid-engine silhouette stay true to Lamborghini roots
  • Low-slung stance evokes performance and aggression
  • Simplified surfacing sets it apart from the highly detailed Aventador and Revuelto
  • Y-shaped lighting elements dominate both front and rear, in line with Lamborghini’s evolving signature look

The Manifesto blends tradition with future-forward thinking. Its clean lines and smoother surfaces reflect a pared-back aesthetic, likely to feature in upcoming Lamborghini models.

Aero-Inspired Design Features

  • Aggressive aerodynamics highlighted by a massive rear diffuser
  • Exposed rear wheels suggest a focus on airflow and performance
  • Twelve vents run down the spine behind the cockpit—purpose currently unconfirmed

While no engine or drivetrain details were revealed, visual cues point to mid-engine proportions, possibly hinting at future hybrid or electric configurations.

Centro Stile: Two Decades of Iconic Design

Since its inception, Centro Stile Lamborghini has shaped some of the brand’s most recognisable cars, including:

  • Huracan
  • Aventador
  • Revuelto
  • Concepts like the Terzo Millennio (which inspired later production models)

The Manifesto celebrates this 20-year legacy with a forward-looking, artistic approach, echoing the studio’s tradition of pushing stylistic boundaries.

Manifesto’s Role in Future Lamborghini Models

Like the Terzo Millennio (2017), which influenced both the Revuelto and upcoming Temerario, the Manifesto’s design language is expected to inform future Lamborghinis—particularly in:

  • Lighting motifs
  • Body surface treatment
  • Aerodynamic elements

While not intended for production, the Manifesto plays a critical role as a styling testbed for what’s next in Lamborghini’s design evolution.

The Lamborghini Manifesto concept, revealed to celebrate 20 years of Centro Stile, offers a radical design study that hints at the brand’s future design language. While it won’t enter production, its clean lines, wedge shape, and Y-shaped lights signal what we can expect from upcoming Lamborghini models.
