Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the updated Ertiga. It will come in both petrol and CNG variants, and it will be available in four variants, LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Prime Oxford Blue, Silky Silver, and Auburn Red are the available colours.
Safety
The vehicle comes with cruise control, four airbags, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist.
The remaining features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio controls, keyless entry with push-button start, automatic climate control, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.
Updated New Engine
It runs on an updated 1.5-litre petrol engine updated with Suzuki’s DualJet with a mild-hybrid system paired to a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that also comes with paddle shifters. Start-stop technology is available on the engine and a manual gearbox is also available.
Power is 103 horsepower, and torque is 136.8 Nm. Suzuki claims a mileage of 20.51 kmpl with the manual transmission option and 20.30 kmpl with the automatic transmission option.
CNG Option
The CNG option produces 87 horsepower and 121.5 Nm of torque when using CNG, and 100 horsepower and 136 Nm of torque when using petrol.
It is claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 26.1 km/kg.
Bookings, Subscription Rates
Bookings began earlier this month for Rs 11,000 each. It can be availed through Maruti’s subscription services for Rs 18,600 onwards for the petrol variants and Rs 22,400 for CNG.
It will compete against the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and the facelifted Maruti Suzuki XL6.
