Tata has launched the 2022 Altroz XT Dark variant at a price of Rs. 7.96 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi and introductory) today in India.
The carmaker has expanded its Altroz Dark range to celebrate the second anniversary of the premium hatchback. It has also introduced the XZ+ diesel Dark grade, but has not disclosed the price yet.
These new variants come in addition to the existing Dark edition trims of the Altroz and they are XZ+ Dark variants of the car’s 1.2-litre petrol and iTurbo versions.

According to Tata, the Dark edition range of the premium hatchback has been expanded in response to customer requests and to enlarge its customer base.
Sporting a blacked out exterior and interior, for its price, the Altroz XT Dark comes with perforated leatherette seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, rear armrest, height adjustable driver seat, adjustable seat belts up front, among other features.
Tata has announced that the XZ+ variant of the premium hatchback will be offered with new features such as Brake Sway Control and iTPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).
The carmaker also sells Dark edition variants of the Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier and new generation Safari in India.
