The Weekly Update : Toyota Glanza, Jeep Meridian, and Tata Altroz Automatic

Two new hatchback models were launched in the past week: the Glanza and the Kwid. Additionally, a few vehicle manufacturers have announced price increases for their models. However, two new cars are scheduled to be introduced in the near future. Here are the highlights of the past week and the offerings for the coming week.

Toyota Glanza Launched
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2022 Glanza in India for a price of Rs 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in four trim levels, five colors, and two transmission options. The Glanza is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 89 horsepower and 113 NM of peak torque.

2022 Renault Kwid Launched
The Kwid budget hatchback received a 2022 year update from Renault India. The new Kwid is now available in two new dual-tone exterior shades, fresh upholstery, and a new RXL trim (O).

Jeep Meridian Unveil date announced
On 29 March, Jeep India will unveil the upcoming three-row Meridian SUV in the country. The Meridian will be based on the Compass SUV and will enter production sometime in May 2022. It will be offered with a diesel engine and multiple seating configurations.

Tata Altroz launch date confirmed
On March 21, Tata Motors will launch its Altroz Automatic in the country. The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine will be mated to a dual-clutch automated transmission for the first time. There will be three variants and a new exterior color.

Mercedes-Benz – Price Hike
Mercedes-Benz announced a uniform increase of up to 3 percent across its model lineup earlier this week. Starting April 1, 2022, the new prices will be implemented. The luxury carmaker estimates that the revision ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh.

Tata Cars – Get Dearer
Tata Motors has raised the prices of all of its models discretely. Except for the Altroz hatchback, which will receive an automated transmission this week, all other models have increased in ex-showroom price.
