As ad dollars shift toward creators, Agentio eyes TikTok, Reels, and Snap while helping brands automate and scale influencer campaigns with AI-driven precision.
Creator Economy Boom Powers Agentio’s Rapid Growth
Agentio, a fast-growing startup connecting brands with creators for sponsored video campaigns, has raised a $40 million Series B led by Forerunner Ventures, bringing its total funding to $56 million and its valuation to $340 million.
- Founded in 2023 by former Cameo president Arthur Leopold and ex-Spotify engineer Jonathan Meyers
- The company has grown 5x since its last raise in November 2024
- Backers include Benchmark, Craft Ventures, AlleyCorp, Antler, and Starting Line
The fresh capital will help Agentio expand beyond YouTube, where it first found traction, to platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Snap.
From Sponsored YouTube Videos to Multichannel Creator Campaigns
Agentio was launched to solve a major challenge in influencer marketing: scaling authentic partnerships between brands and creators without time-consuming manual processes.
- Sponsored YouTube video views rose 28% YoY, and the number of such videos increased by 54%, per Tubefilter.
- Brands using Agentio, like Bombas, have reported 5.3x ROAS and 90% new customer rates.
- Ad budgets that take six months to spend on Meta or Google are now being deployed in a matter of weeks on Agentio.
“The level of trust that creators have with their audiences is unbeatable,” said CEO Arthur Leopold.
AI-Powered Marketplace Built for Speed and Scale
Agentio uses AI to automate the ad-buying process and speed up creator-brand matchmaking:
- The average time to first bid for creators has dropped from 45+ days to under 24 hours.
- Agentio now pays tens of millions to creators annually.
- Many creators see 2x+ increases in partnership revenue within 6 months of joining.
New AI features launched in the past year include:
- Campaign Manager: Helps marketers generate ad campaigns using reasoning models
- Brand Safety Match: Ensures brand-creator alignment via AI
- Content Review Agent: Automatically checks creator submissions for brief adherence and compliance
“Before Agentio, a person had to watch every single creator video,” said CTO Jonathan Meyers. “Now, our agent handles it automatically.”
Expanding Into Meta, TikTok, and Snap
After dominating YouTube partnerships, Agentio is now in beta with Meta platforms, primarily Reels via partnership ads that don’t appear in users’ main feeds.
- Many creators on Agentio already have a multi-platform presence, making expansion natural.
- Full support for TikTok and Snap is planned for 2026.
The company is also starting to serve B2B clients, broadening beyond its consumer brand core.
- For example, a health brand could be matched with non-traditional creators, like outdoor adventurers.
- This data-driven matchmaking helps brands unlock niche audiences they might otherwise overlook.
Forerunner’s Backing and Agentio’s Growing Team
Eurie Kim, managing partner at Forerunner, said the firm had watched Agentio for over a year before leading the round.
“Agentio could be the AI-powered media planning platform of the future,” Kim said. “And creators are the most valuable marketing asset of the future.”
The team has grown from 12 to 35 employees in the past year, with plans to scale to 100+ in 2026.
