Fashion Meets Gaming: VLGE’s Shoppable Worlds Power World Fashion Week

By simplifying world-building for brands, VLGE is transforming how fashion connects with Gen Z through gamified commerce on Roblox and beyond

A New Take on Fashion’s Digital Future

VLGE, founded by Evelyn Mora in 2021, is turning heads in both the fashion and tech industries with its mission to redefine shopping through immersive digital worlds. The platform lets brands create their own interactive environments — complete with games, storytelling, and products — that can be instantly exported to platforms like Roblox.

  • VLGE removes the technical and financial barriers of building in 3D and gaming spaces.
  • No coding knowledge is required, making immersive retail accessible to brands of all sizes.

Mora’s early experience with fashion sustainability inspired her to build a digital-first alternative to physical fashion shows, focusing instead on scalable, low-impact digital activations.

VLGE’s Big Bet: Roblox as Fashion’s Digital Frontier

VLGE’s tools are now powering 50 shoppable fashion worlds during World Fashion Week, a VLGE-led initiative aimed at helping creators and brands launch interactive shopping experiences across platforms — especially Roblox.

“Roblox has become fashion’s most powerful youth frontier,” Mora said. “We make it instant, affordable, and interoperable.”

Key features include:

  • Browser-based building tools
  • Real-time deployment to Roblox
  • No need for Roblox coding knowledge
  • Massive cost reduction — from $10,000–$100,000 down to affordable, self-serve tools

VLGE’s growing compatibility with engines like Unreal and upcoming support for Meta Horizon Worlds shows its ambitions extend far beyond Roblox.

From Fashion Week to Shoppable Games

VLGE previously gained attention for creating the world’s first 3D, gamified fashion week. Now, it’s doubling down on gamified commerce — the fusion of e-commerce and gaming.

Brands like Lancôme, Charlotte Tilbury, and Vogue Scandinavia have already partnered with VLGE to explore immersive retail. The company has raised $5 million in funding from backers including L’Oréal Group, the British Fashion Council, and Lammot J. du Pont.

“This moment isn’t just about fashion,” Mora said. “It’s about the infrastructure that will power the next generation of commerce.”

The Business Model: Accessible to All Creators

VLGE offers four pricing tiers:

  • Freemium
  • Paid tiers for creators, small businesses, and enterprises

This flexibility allows indie designers and major labels alike to tap into Roblox’s over 70 million daily users, particularly Gen Z, who increasingly value digital identity and immersive brand experiences.

VLGE is also preparing to launch an online store, featuring:

  • Physical fashion items from emerging designers
  • Exportable 3D assets for use in platforms like Roblox

A Glimpse Into the Future of Shopping

VLGE represents a new wave of interactive commerce, where entertainment, culture, and retail converge. By democratizing access to immersive world-building, the platform is helping redefine how brands reach the next generation of consumers.

For the fashion world — traditionally built around runways and editorials — the pivot toward gamified digital spaces could be its most significant evolution yet.
