Govt Employees Can Get 13% DA Hike, 75% Arrears Before Holi

Before the festival of colours, The MP government, led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan is planning to give big gifts to around 4 lakh state government employees. To ensure that the employees get their arrears well before the festival, the finance department has already pulled up the sleeves in order to set things in motion.

DA To Be Increased By 13 Percent As Per Speculations
Dearness Allowance (DA ) of the employees can be increased by 13 percent by the state government according to the reports. As lakhs of employees will be benefited by such a move, it comes as a breather. Although, only after completing the required paperwork, a final decision in the regard will be taken.

By March 2021, 75% arrears of Seventh Pay scale are to be cleared by the state government.

Earlier, the last installment of the arrears of the seventh pay scale which was to be paid in May 2020, was suspended in view of the COVID-19 crisis. Last year, 25 percent of arrears were paid by the state government.

75% Of The Outstanding Installment To Be Paid
According to officials, the remaining arrears were to be paid in three installments. Out of these three installments, first two have been paid and now 75% of the outstanding installment has to be paid.

Speculations are rife that DA of employees will be increased by 13 percent by Shivraj Singh government. Lakhs of employees of the state could access this benefit if this announcement is made by the government.

In the light and anticipation of this, all eyes shall be glued to the state budget which will be presented on March 2.
