Identifee Wants to Be the Salesforce + Power BI for Bankers

Built by Wells Fargo veterans, Identifee combines CRM, analytics, and AI tools into a unified system designed specifically for bankers.

From Frustration to Founding

Vram Ismailyan spent nearly 14 years at Wells Fargo, helping Fortune 500 clients with payment infrastructure. But despite his success, he was drowning in inefficient workflows.

“I spent at least five to 10 hours preparing for customer meetings,” he said. “I had to work through 10 or 15 different systems just to create one PowerPoint.”

His colleague, Kevin Miyamoto, faced similar pain. Even while managing $900 billion in annual payments, he relied entirely on Excel spreadsheets instead of a proper CRM.

This shared frustration led the pair to co-found Identifee in 2021—a unified productivity platform built for commercial bankers by commercial bankers.

A Platform Purpose-Built for Banks

Identifee centralizes the fragmented tech stack most bankers deal with. Instead of toggling between CRMs, BI tools, and reporting systems, bankers can use one integrated platform.

Key modules include:

  • CRM tailored to commercial banking workflows
  • Business intelligence tools for customer insights
  • Sales enablement features, including auto-generated presentations and reports

“If you’re a community bank, you could do what Identifee does,” Miyamoto said, “but you’d need Salesforce, Seismic, Power BI, and Tableau. Or—you could use our tool.”

AI That Works Within Compliance

Some modules are AI-powered to save bankers even more time.

For example:

  • RFP assistance agent helps fill out forms automatically
  • Complies with each bank’s risk and compliance policies
  • Reduces manual review and error-prone formatting

This gives teams more time to focus on relationship management, rather than admin tasks.

Built for the Underserved Majority

While large banks like Wells Fargo may eventually modernize, Identifee targets the 8,800+ commercial banks and credit unions across the U.S. — many of which are more technologically behind.

“At smaller institutions, it takes forever to pull basic customer data,” Miyamoto noted. “We’re solving that with one login, one dashboard.”

Identifee already supports 170+ clients, including:

  • Silicon Valley Bank
  • First Fidelity Bank
  • Comerica

Funding, Traction, and Market Fit

Identifee has raised $5 million in seed funding from:

  • Ocean Azul Partners
  • 10X Capital
  • Gaingels

The startup was also named a Top 20 finalist at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025’s Startup Battlefield, reflecting growing interest in vertical SaaS platforms tailored to legacy industries.

So why hasn’t this been done before?

“There are tons of people familiar with the problem,” Miyamoto said. “But those people don’t start companies like Vram and I did.”

Identifee, founded by two Wells Fargo alumni, unifies fragmented tools for commercial bankers into one AI-powered platform. With over 170 clients and $5M in funding, it’s streamlining workflows for the 8,800+ banks and credit unions struggling with outdated tech.
