TVS Motor Company, a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has invested in Narain Karthikeyan’s pre-owned two-wheeler platform “DriveX” (NKars Mobility Millennial Solutions Private Limited). Pre-owned two-wheeler markets, which are undergoing a structural shift from unorganized to organized, hold great potential for TVS Motor. In recent years, the pre-owned two-wheeler market has grown rapidly and attracted a lot of investor and customer interest, driven by digitization and the emergence of start-ups. Investing in DriveX supports this transformation by enabling innovative solutions.
Founded by India’s first Formula 1 ace racing driver Narain Karthikeyan, DriveX is a fully integrated model present across the pre-owned two-wheeler vehicle value chain. It includes all core areas of procurement, refurbishment, and retailing of multi-brand pre-owned two-wheelers. Incorporated in April 2020, DriveX started off as a two-wheeler subscription platform, providing affordable and flexible mobility solutions and has expanded to five cities in a short span of time.
