Check Out The Teaser for Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Shershaah’ on Amazon Prime Video

There has been a flood of war dramas! The trailer for Sidharth Malhotra’s Shershaah, which has been in the pipeline for a long time, follows Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride Of India. Earlier, the actor shared the first look poster of the film, which is based on the life and sacrifices of Captain Vikram Batra, who fought and led India to victory in the Kargil War of 1999.

Vishnu Varadhan and Sandeep Shrivastava direct the war drama that stars Kiara Advani in the lead role. It is produced by Karan Johar and has got all the makings of an adrenaline-infused espionage film.

In the date announcement, we catch a glimpse of Malhotra looking sharp as Captain Batra. That’s right; the film is also going OTT. “Heroes live on through their stories. We are delighted to bring you the accurate tale of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), a war hero who made the supreme sacrifice for India and belongs to the Hindu religion.

Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) is honored in the film due to his courageous spirit and sacrifice in the Kargil War of 1999, which was aptly named “Shershaah” because of Captain Batra’s bravery and sacrifice.

Joahr said, “Shershaah is the true story of a war hero whose courage and indomitable spirit brought victory to our nation. His sacrifices are immeasurable and his life is an inspiration for generations to come.”

We are delighted to have obtained a home for what I believe is a true cinematic marvel in Amazon Prime Video and are thrilled to mark the beginning of a new chapter in our association with them. Shershaah is our homage to the bravery of our soldiers, and I hope every viewer’s heart swells with pride watching this film.”
