Now that she has recovered, Sameera took to Instagram to share some tips with her followers on gaining back strength post COVID. She has made a reel with a caption that speaks about COVID recovery diet, and other important practices like taking sunlight for 15 minutes and practising pranayama , shravasana and deep breathing. The actress suggested natural energy-boosting food options and also advised to have a good sleep.

Sameera Reddy shared some post-COVID recovery tips on Instagram that helped her with the weakness. Taking to Instagram, the actress stated, “Post-COVID recovery tips that have helped me especially with the weakness . Please feel free to share anything that has helped you too.” Under “How to tackle post covid weakness”, Sameera suggested the following:

Coconut water
Dates / Kala jamun
Soaked almonds /raisins overnight
Amla / lime juice
Fresh fruit
Add Jaggery & ghee after meals
No refined/processed foods
Eat wholesome foods like pulses, khichdi with veggies

Controlled screen time especially before sleep
Slow walks, no intense workout

Government Shares Sample Meal Plan For COVID-19 Patients
The Government of India has shared a sample meal plan for the virus affected patients, that includes the following:

1. Start the day by consuming soaked almonds and raisins. Almonds are a rich source of protein and raisins provide a good amount of iron

2. For breakfast, ragi dosa or a bowl of porridge is the best option

3. Jaggery and ghee recommended during or post-lunch or have this nutritious combination along with roti
4. For dinner, have a simple khichdi as it includes all the essential nutrients, is light on the gut, and helps with good sleep

5. It is important to stay hydrated; apart from water, you must include homemade lime juice and buttermilk in your daily routine
