Biopics have succeeded in establishing a genre for themselves and all the right reasons when they feature the life of a beloved sports figure such as Dangal or M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Sourav Ganguly, the current BCCI President and former cricketer will be the subject of a biopic. Although there have been countless rumors about the same that have surfaced numerous times, Ganguly has confirmed the big news. It will take a few more days to arrange everything.”

Still, Ganguly is keen on Kapoor, who has been almost confirmed for the role. A big production house is financing the biopic, which is expected to cost between Rs 200 and Rs 250 crores.

The script is still being developed, but the studio is constantly in touch with the man of the moment. Is there going to be an official announcement? We are as good as you at guessing!
