Thanks to OTT that even in the pandemic, entertainment has still found its way to reach us. The month of May has already been exciting, however June is going to take it a notch further. Family man season 2
The highly anticipated season 2 of the Raj & DK produced The Family Man is around the corner and has got its fans into frenzy. With iconic common-man character Srikant Tiwari, Manoj Bajpayee is in the lead protagonist. It also has Samantha Akkineni as the lead antagonist. With trailer surpassing 50 million views, and despite the controversy, the series has got every hyped up.

2. Jagame Thandiram

The teaser of the movie Jagame Thandhiram has already crossed more than 17 million views on YouTube. Due to the pandemic, the movie which was slated for a theatrical release in May, got cancelled. The movie’s digital rights were acquired at 55 crores, which has made it highest-paid OTT release and certainly one of the OTT releases this June that you can’t miss.

3. Loki

Loki, the third web series from the house of Marvel Cinematic Universe, is one of the biggest release of the month. Also, the release of the series has been preponed from the second week of June. The series will follow the events of the character post-Avengers Endgame. For the first time around, a negative character has been given a full-length web series in the MCU. Every Wednesday, 9 June onwards episodes shall be available for weekly streaming. Loki is one of the biggest OTT releases of the 2021 summer and definitely the biggest in June.

The Canadian sitcom Kim’s Convenience’s fifth instalment shall be released in June. It is a feel-good family sitcom based on a Korean family settled in Canada. Starring in the tv series is Simu Liu, who will be next seen in Marvel’s Shang Chi releasing later this year.

7. Skater Girl

Set in the town of Rajasthan, Skater Girl is the first of its kind. Based on the story of a country girl, who wants to skate on a skateboard, Manjari Makijany, the director of the movie, introduced the audience with the first Indian film in skateboarding.

8. Dom

Dom recounts the journey of Pedro, a man from Rio De Janeiro. A web series based on Brazilian actions, the plot focuses on Pedro, a middle-aged, formerly addicted boy, who becomes a gang leader. The series, in addition to its original Portuguese sound, is also released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
