10 global startups join three-day programme to scale real-world AI solutions

Presight, a global leader in AI and big data analytics, has kicked off its first-ever AI-Startup Accelerator Bootcamp in Abu Dhabi. The three-day programme marks the launch of Presight’s AI-Startup Accelerator initiative, designed to support visionary founders and scale transformative AI solutions.

The first cohort of 10 startups, drawn from the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and the UAE, will undergo a rigorous acceleration journey running until December 2025.

Through the programme, startups gain:

• Access to Presight’s client network, opening commercial opportunities.
• Expert mentorship from global industry leaders.
• Showcase opportunities at Gitex Expand North Star 2025.

For Presight and its partners, the bootcamp is the first chance to evaluate startups’ solutions and assess their potential to address pressing institutional and sectoral challenges.

Key voices and vision

Opening the event, Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, highlighted the importance of cultivating a “startup mindset” across institutions.

“The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator is a catalyst for transformative growth. By equipping the 10 exceptional startups in our inaugural cohort with world-class infrastructure and the critical levers to accelerate their commercial trajectory, we are amplifying their growth velocity,” he said.

He emphasized the UAE’s role as a global epicentre of AI innovation, noting that these startups embody the ambition and possibility defining the future.

The first day also featured insights from Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, and Peng Xiao, CEO of G42, who guided dignitaries through in-depth engagements with the startup teams.

Diverse themes and bold ideas

The 10 startups presented across three thematic tracks:

• Urban Visionaries: tackling large-scale urban challenges in climate, mobility, and infrastructure.
• AI Tool & Tech Makers: developing secure, scalable AI infrastructure.
• Market Shapers: applying AI in fintech, energy, education, and investment decision-making.

The event attracted ambassadors from Singapore, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, as well as leaders from G42, Core42, Space42, Astra Tech, Inception, and Analog.

Strong ecosystem support

The bootcamp was backed by Presight’s wide network of partners and clients, including Microsoft, Hub71, Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, FAB, Adnoc Onshore, Borouge, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy.

Interactive demo jams and a partner panel featuring NVIDIA, Mohamed Bin Zayed University of AI, Shorooq, and Astra Tech added further depth to the sessions.

Immersive AI ecosystem experience

On the second day, startups visited Adnoc, AIQ, Astra Tech, and Space42, experiencing how AI is operationalised at scale in energy, infrastructure, research, and national innovation.

The final day concluded with strategic planning sessions, commercial readiness workshops, and a recap panel at Presight’s headquarters. Microsoft, Core42, and ADQ led dedicated training modules, equipping startups with refined go-to-market strategies for long-term regional engagement.
