Samsung Ditches Snapdragon for Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra in Latest Leak

Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra Leak Reveals Chipset Choices: No Snapdragon in Sight

A fresh leak has revealed key chipset details for two of Samsung’s highly anticipated devices: the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both models are skipping Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in favor of more cost-effective alternatives, as Samsung aims to balance performance and pricing in a competitive market.

Galaxy S25 FE: Exynos 2400 Takes the Lead

  • The Galaxy S25 FE is set to feature the Exynos 2400 chip—the same processor found in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus.
  • Built on Samsung Foundry’s 4nm process, the Exynos 2400 offers a deca-core CPU and an AMD-based Xclipse 940 GPU.
  • Geekbench results show scores of 1931 (single-core) and 6516 (multi-core), suggesting solid mid-flagship performance.
  • While the Galaxy S25 series now starts at 12GB of RAM, the S25 FE may remain at 8GB RAM as a base configuration.
  • Camera upgrades are also on the way, with a new 12MP S25-grade selfie camera confirmed for the FE model.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: MediaTek Powers the Flagship Tablet

  • Samsung’s Tab S11 Ultra will continue with a MediaTek processor, following the precedent set by the Tab S10 series.
  • The device will be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ SoC, boasting an octa-core CPU (up to 3.73GHz) and a Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU.
  • According to Geekbench, the Tab S11 Ultra achieved 2675 (single-core) and 8039 (multi-core) scores—promising strong performance for a premium Android tablet.
  • Both the S11 Ultra and its siblings will ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.x at launch.

Launch Timeline and Market Focus

  • Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE and the Tab S11 series later this year, following the July 9 Unpacked event in New York.
  • By choosing Exynos and MediaTek chips, Samsung is keeping device costs competitive and offering alternatives to Snapdragon-powered rivals.

Stay tuned as more details emerge ahead of the official announcement.
