WB Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2020 – West Bengal Government At Your Doorstep

Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2020 has been launched by the West Bengal government. The state govt. has started West Bengal Government at Every Doorstep Scheme in which the administration will set up camps in blocks. CM Mamata Banerjee has announced this scheme at a programme held at the Sidhu Kanhu Indoor Stadium, Durgapur.

CM Mamata Banerjee has launched Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2020 on 23 November 2020. The main aim of West Bengal Government at Your Doorstep Scheme is to address the grievances of the people starting from the block level. Features of West Bengal Government At Your Doorstep Scheme

Here are the important features of the Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme 2020:-

  • As a part of the scheme, the West Bengal government will establish camps at every block of the state.
  • The camps will serve as centres of addressing grievances of people.
  • The state govt. officials present at the camp will look into the requirements of people and try to fulfill them.
  • Camps setup by the state government will start functioning from 1 December 2020.

Karmai Dharma Scheme

The state govt. of West Bengal has also launched WB Karmai Dharma Scheme 2020. In this scheme, the WB govt. will provide 2 lakh motorcycles to unemployed youths as a part of the previously launched Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme. All the jobless candidates would have to apply for this Self Employment Scheme to sustain their livelihood.

The financial aid under the Karmai Dharma Scheme would be given with assistance from cooperative banks. Boxes would be attached on the back of the bikes for carrying items to be sold. Youths would be able to sell sarees, clothes or any other articles. This Karmai Dharma initiative would help the unemployed youths to get self employment and run their families.

At the programme held at the Sidhu Kanhu Stadium, CM Mamata Banerjee even mentioned that govt. will provide 100% scholarship to those in genuine need of it. The Assembly election in the state is due in April-May 2021.
