“Stop drawing political mileage out of the Covid Pandemic” Joshua Peter De Souza

All of us have experienced the intense ill-effects of the Covid 19 pandemic. Most of us have had someone in our family who may have been infected with the virus. Many amongst us have lost either a family member or a neighbour or someone we may have known.

We were all in this together and each one of us has tried to help the other in whatever way we could. Now with the assembly elections I find it disturbing that many opposition candidates have made vile allegations against us and tried to score brownie points using the Pandemic as an issue. I feel and therefore humbly request all we ought to stop drawing political mileage out of the Pandemic .
