Turn Galaxy XR into a Workstation with PC and Phone Mirroring

With PC Link and Smart View, Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset lets you mirror your Galaxy Book or smartphone screen—plus take calls directly from your headset.

Extend Your Digital Workspace in XR

Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset isn’t just for immersive apps and games—it also supports screen mirroring from your Galaxy Book laptop or Galaxy smartphone. Whether you’re multitasking with work apps or attending calls, Galaxy XR transforms into a virtual productivity hub.

Here’s how to get started with PC and phone screen mirroring, plus how to take calls from your phone directly in XR.

You can wirelessly mirror your Galaxy Book’s screen to your Galaxy XR using Samsung’s PC Link app.

✅ Requirements:

  • A Galaxy Book running Windows
  • Galaxy XR headset
  • Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network and have Bluetooth enabled

🔧 Steps:

  1. On your Galaxy Book:
    • Download and install the PC Link app from Samsung.
  2. On your Galaxy XR:
    • Go to Settings > Connected Devices > PC Link.
    • Tap your Galaxy Book’s name when it appears.
  3. Once connected, your laptop’s screen will appear on a virtual display inside the Galaxy XR environment.

You can now use PC apps side by side with XR-native tools for a seamless workflow.

📱 Mirror Your Galaxy Phone’s Screen with Smart View

Use Smart View to project your Galaxy phone’s screen onto the Galaxy XR headset.

✅ Requirements:

  • A compatible Galaxy smartphone
  • Galaxy XR headset
  • Both devices on the same Wi-Fi network

🔧 Steps:

  1. On your Galaxy phone:
    • Navigate to Settings > Connected Devices > Smart View.
    • Tap your Galaxy XR headset’s name once it appears.
  2. The phone’s screen will mirror inside the XR headset, letting you interact with mobile apps or media without taking off the headset.

📞 Take Calls from Your Phone on Galaxy XR

You can answer phone calls directly in the XR headset using Samsung’s Call On Other Devices feature.

🔧 Steps:

  1. On Galaxy XR:
    • Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Call On Other Devices
    • Enable “Allow Calling On This Headset”
  2. On your Galaxy phone:
    • Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Call & Text On Other Devices
    • Enable “Call On Other Devices”
    • Your Galaxy XR headset should appear as a connected device

Once set up, incoming calls on your phone will pop up inside the headset, allowing you to answer hands-free in XR.

🌐 A True Mixed-Reality Productivity Toolkit

With features like PC Link, Smart View, and call support, the Galaxy XR is built not just for entertainment, but also for enhanced productivity. You can:

  • Review documents from your PC
  • Access mobile apps without removing your headset
  • Stay connected to calls and messages

It’s a big step toward turning XR into a daily-use computing platform—not just a novelty.
