For the quarter ended March 2025, NTPC Green Energy reported a net profit of ₹233.22 crore, marking a 188% increase YoY compared to ₹80.95 crore in Q4FY24.
- Revenue from operations rose 22% YoY to ₹622.27 crore, up from ₹508.14 crore.
- Total expenses were largely controlled, inching up to ₹444.63 crore from ₹425.84 crore a year earlier, reflecting operational efficiency and scalability in its renewable projects.
Successful IPO Adds Capital Strength
NTPC Green completed a high-profile IPO in FY25, raising ₹10,000 crore through the issuance of over 92.63 crore shares at an issue price of ₹108.
- The stock debuted on both BSE and NSE on November 27, 2024.
- A portion of the issue (87.2 lakh shares) was reserved for employees at a discounted price of ₹103, reinforcing internal stakeholder alignment.
