United Airlines Brings Back Dulles to Albuquerque Flight
United Airlines is relaunching its nonstop service from Dulles International Airport to Albuquerque, New Mexico, starting May 22. The service, however, will not operate year-round, with a seasonal break in January and February.
- This route was previously dropped in 2014.
- The new flights will cater to travelers seeking direct access between Washington, D.C. area and Albuquerque.
In addition to the Albuquerque route, May will be a busy month for United at Dulles. New nonstop flights will be launched to Nice, France, and Venice, Italy, on May 22, followed by a new service to Dakar, Senegal, on May 23.
- These flights will cater to travelers interested in international destinations.
- United continues to expand its global network from Dulles, increasing its capacity to Europe and Africa.
Furthermore, starting March 29, United will add a second daily flight between Dulles and Dublin.
- This increases convenience for those flying between the two cities.
- United remains the largest airline serving Dulles, offering frequent and diverse routes.
The airline will also be the sole operator of the new 435,000-square-foot, 14-gate Concourse E, scheduled to open in late 2026.
- This will enhance the overall passenger experience with modern facilities and increased capacity.
In addition to expanding its flight options, United will introduce Starlink Wi-Fi services on its flights as early as this spring. This high-speed internet service, provided by Elon Musk’s Starlink, will eventually be available on all United flights.
- Passengers will have access to faster, more reliable internet during their flights, enhancing the travel experience.
