Waaree Energies Adds New Solar Contract for FY27 Delivery

Waaree Energies Limited has secured a fresh order to supply 800 MW of solar modules to a major domestic energy solutions provider, further taking its order book to around ₹53,000 crore.

The company disclosed the order in a regulatory filing dated June 15, 2026. Execution of the contract is scheduled during FY27.

Order book expands

The latest order adds to a series of large contracts won by the company in recent months.

Earlier, Waaree had secured:

  • A 2,210 MW order

With the addition of the new contract, the company’s order book has climbed to nearly ₹53,000 crore, providing revenue visibility over the coming years.

Manufacturing expansion

The company currently has aggregate solar module manufacturing capacity of 25.75 GW.

  • 24.15 GW in India
  • 1.6 GW in the United States

Solar cell manufacturing capacity stands at 5.4 GW and is expected to increase to 11.4 GW by FY27.

To support its expansion plans, Waaree intends to invest more than ₹14,700 crore over the next two years.

The investment is aimed at building capabilities in:

  • Ingots
  • Wafers
  • PV glass

Acquisition completed

Waaree also announced the completion of its acquisition of a 55% stake in Associated Power Structures Private Limited.

The transaction was valued at ₹1,225 crore.

Fundraising plan

The board has approved a fundraising proposal of up to ₹10,000 crore.

The capital may be raised through:

  • Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP)
  • Other permissible routes
