Galaxy Z Fold7 Global and US Models Deliver Equal Power in Early Benchmarks
Geekbench scores confirm identical Snapdragon 8 Elite performance worldwide
Samsung Maintains Performance Parity Across Regions
Early Geekbench 6.4.0 benchmarks for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 reveal that both the Global (SM-F966B) and US (SM-F966U) models deliver nearly identical performance.
- The Global version scored 2896 (single-core) and 9226 (multi-core), while the US version posted 3022 and 9307, respectively.
- These close results confirm that Samsung’s 2025 foldable flagship offers uniform power regardless of market.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Platform
Both versions of the Galaxy Z Fold7 are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, an 8-core processor that includes:
- Two high-performance cores clocked at 4.47 GHz
- Six cores running at 3.53 GHz, ensuring strong multitasking and gaming capabilities
This chipset, paired with 12GB RAM (10.72 GB usable), makes the Fold7 one of the most capable Android devices expected this year.
Android 16 and Optimized One UI Experience
The device runs Android 16 with Samsung’s latest One UI skin, tailored for foldables.
- Small variations in benchmark scores may stem from software tuning or region-specific firmware optimizations.
- However, the differences are minimal and won’t affect real-world usage.
Samsung’s Foldable Flagship Push Continues
This benchmark confirmation follows Samsung’s first teaser for the Galaxy Z Fold7, which emphasized:
- Larger displays
- Improved performance
- Enhanced photography, borrowing from the Galaxy Ultra lineup
With its mid-2025 launch approaching, the Fold7 is positioned to set new standards in the foldable market, offering consistent power globally.
