Samsung Rolls Out June 2025 Security Update for Galaxy A54, Flip 3, and Fold 3

Security First: June Patch Begins Global Expansion
Samsung has started rolling out the June 2025 security update for the Galaxy A54, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3, beginning with users in South Korea. A broader international rollout is expected shortly.
- This update enhances device security and performance.
- The patch is based on Android 15 with One UI 7.
What’s Inside the Update?
The June 2025 security patch addresses a total of 55 vulnerabilities, including:
- 36 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identified by Google.
- 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) affecting core features like Bluetooth, fingerprint authentication, screen capture, Theme Manager, and Samsung Cloud.
These fixes ensure a more stable and secure experience across the affected devices.
Device-Specific Details
Each device is receiving the update with a specific One UI build version:
- Galaxy A54 – Build: A546SKSSADYF1
- Galaxy Z Fold 3 – Build: F926NKSS9KYF1
- Galaxy Z Flip 3 – Build: F711NKSS9KYF1
- The update file is approximately 300 MB in size and should take only a few minutes to install, depending on the device.
How to Install the Update
To manually check for the update:
- Open Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Software update.
- Select Download and install.
If an OTA update is available, your device will fetch and prompt you to install it.
Looking Ahead: One UI 8 Plans
Samsung is currently testing One UI 8 on the Galaxy S25 series through the Beta Program. However, this major update will not be available for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Fold 3. Only the Galaxy A54 among the three mentioned will be eligible for One UI 8 in the future.
- The stable One UI 8 update is expected to launch with Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
