One UI 8 Now Live for Select Samsung Devices
Samsung has officially launched One UI 8, its latest software update built on Android 16, for a range of its devices — starting with the Galaxy A36, A55, A35, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.
- Galaxy A36 5G: The update is now live in Europe and will expand globally, including to the U.S.
- Galaxy A55 & A35: The update is rolling out in South Korea now, with wider deployment expected from October 2.
- Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Z Flip 5: Stable One UI 8 builds are now available in South Korea.

How to Prepare for the Update
Before installing One UI 8:
- Ensure your phone is charged to at least 50%
- Backup your data in case of interruptions or failed installs
- If the update isn’t showing yet, wait a few hours or try manual installation through the Settings app
