Oppo has officially launched the Reno 13A in Japan as a new midrange offering, featuring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits peak brightness.

  • The display is protected by AGC Dragontrail STAR2 glass and houses an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
  • The phone weighs 192 grams and measures 7.8mm thick, with an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

Camera and Imaging Capabilities

The Reno 13A is equipped with a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

  • The rear camera setup includes:
    • A 50MP main sensor with OIS
    • An 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 112° field of view
    • A 2MP macro lens for close-up shots

Performance and Storage

Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the phone features 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.

  • It supports virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB and external storage up to 1TB via microSD.
  • A 5,800mAh battery with 45W fast charging ensures all-day performance.

Software and Connectivity

The Reno 13A runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, offering an up-to-date user experience.

  • Connectivity options include dual SIM + eSIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB-C.
  • Dual stereo speakers further enhance multimedia playback.

Price and Availability

The Oppo Reno 13A is priced at 48,000 Yen (~$330) and is currently available for pre-order in Japan, with official sales starting June 26.

  • It will be offered in Charcoal Gray, Ice Blue, and Luminous Navy.
  • The SIM-free model will be sold via mass retailers, e-commerce platforms, and carriers including UQ Mobile, Rakuten Mobile, Y! Mobile, and various MVNOs.
