One UI 8 Beta Expansion Continues as More Models Receive Latest Security Patch
Samsung is actively rolling out the June 2025 security patch alongside its ongoing One UI 8 Beta update expansion. The update delivers key security improvements across the Galaxy S, Z, and A series, and includes a long list of Android and Samsung-specific vulnerabilities addressed this month.
First Wave: Galaxy A56 Leads the Rollout
The Galaxy A56 5G was the first to receive the June 2025 update, followed by a growing list of flagship and mid-range devices.
- The Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Flip/Fold 6 are among the next in line.
- Samsung has steadily expanded the patch to additional models over the first half of June.
Security Fixes Included
The June patch addresses both Google’s Android-level vulnerabilities (CVEs) and Samsung’s proprietary issues:
- 36 CVEs target Android system vulnerabilities.
- 19 SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures) cover issues in Screen Capture, Fingerprint security, Bluetooth, Theme Manager, Samsung Cloud, and more.
- These fixes aim to enhance device integrity and user privacy across Galaxy devices.

How to Manually Check for the Update
To ensure your Galaxy device is up to date:
- Open Settings
- Tap Software Update
- Select Download and install
