Samsung’s $90B Brand Value Keeps It in Top 5 Global Rankings

With a brand value of $90 billion, Samsung maintains its global reputation—trailing only behind tech’s biggest titans

Samsung Holds Strong in Global Brand Rankings

For the sixth consecutive year, Samsung has been ranked as the 5th best global brand, according to Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2025 list. The South Korean tech giant secured its place with a brand value of $90 billion, affirming its status as one of the most influential and recognizable companies in the world.

Samsung continues to trail behind only Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, which dominate the top four positions.

2025 Brand Rankings — A Closer Look

Here’s how the top five global brands rank in Interbrand’s 2025 list, along with their estimated brand values:

  1. Apple – $470.9 billion
  2. Microsoft – $388.5 billion
  3. Amazon – $319.9 billion
  4. Google – $317.1 billion
  5. Samsung – $90 billion

While Samsung is well behind the top four in valuation, its consistent placement in the top five reflects enduring global trust, innovation, and product ecosystem strength.

A Brand Built on Diversity and Innovation

Samsung’s strength as a brand stems from its diverse product portfolio and its leading positions in key markets:

  • Smartphones (Galaxy series)
  • Home appliances and TVs
  • Semiconductors and memory chips
  • AI innovation and smart ecosystem integration

The company’s global footprint and strategic partnerships continue to broaden its influence, even in competitive segments like AI, automotive chips, and health-focused devices.

Recent Moves That Reinforce Brand Value

Samsung’s brand strength in 2025 is underpinned by recent major business deals and technology leadership, including:

  • A massive 2nm chip manufacturing deal with Tesla
  • Plans to supply HBM3E memory to Nvidia for AI accelerators
  • Ongoing work to democratize AI access through products and open platforms

These initiatives not only grow Samsung’s presence in new verticals but also showcase its role in enabling next-gen technologies across industries.

What’s Next for Samsung?

In a statement, Won-Jin Lee, President and Head of Global Marketing Office, emphasized Samsung’s commitment to customer-centric innovation:

“Through AI innovation and open collaboration, Samsung has worked to ensure that more customers can experience AI in their daily lives… we will continue to focus on benefits for customers, including in health and safety, so that Samsung can grow into an even more beloved brand.”

While gaining a higher spot on the list would require a substantial increase in brand value, Samsung’s 2025 performance and strategic partnerships suggest that it’s laying strong groundwork for future growth.

Samsung has been ranked 5th in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2025 list for the sixth year in a row, with a brand value of $90 billion. The company remains behind Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google but continues to expand its global influence through AI innovation and strategic tech partnerships.
