How to Apply for an SBI ATM Card Online

  1. Log in to SBI Net Banking using your credentials.
  2. Click on ‘e-Services’, then select ‘ATM Card Services’.
  3. Choose ‘Request ATM/Debit Card’.
  4. Verify using OTP or profile password.

How to Apply for an SBI ATM Card Offline

There are two main offline methods to apply for an SBI ATM card:

1. Through Customer Care:

  • Call any toll-free number: 1800 11 2211 / 1800 425 3800 / 1800 1234 / 1800 2100.
  • Select account and card type.
  • Place a new card request over the call.

2. By Visiting a Branch:

How to Activate SBI ATM Card

Once you receive the card, activation is required for transactions. SBI offers multiple activation methods:

1. Net Banking:

  • Log in and go to ‘ATM Card Services’ > ‘New ATM Card Activation’.
  • Enter 16-digit card number and authenticate via OTP.

2. YONO App:

  • Use ‘Service Request’ > ‘ATM Card Activation’ option.
  • Enter card number and validate with OTP.

3. SMS Method:

  • Send SMS: PIN <space> last 4 digits of card <space> last 4 digits of account to 567676.
  • Use received OTP at an ATM to set a PIN.

4. Customer Care:

  • Call 1800 11 2211 / 1800 425 3800.
  • Provide required digits from card and account.
  • Use OTP at ATM to create PIN.

SBI Debit Card Processing Time

After submission, SBI takes around 7–10 working days to dispatch the ATM card.

  • Cards are sent via India Post, and tracking information is shared via SMS.
  • Activation is mandatory after delivery.

How to Track SBI ATM Card

If your card hasn’t arrived on time, you can track its status using the following methods:

1. Net Banking:
