- Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg are under a yellow alert due to the likelihood of intense rain and thunder.
- Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar may see light to moderate showers, potentially disrupting daily activities.
The coastal belt, especially low-lying areas, should prepare for potential waterlogging and travel delays.
Thunder and Rain in Western Maharashtra
- Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, and Solapur are forecasted to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms.
- The ghat areas of Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara may experience heavier downpours, raising the risk of localized flooding and landslides.
Travelers and commuters in hilly terrain should remain cautious.
Marathwada Braces for Stormy Weather
- Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, and Latur are likely to witness thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.
- Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), Jalna, Beed, and Dharashiv.
Residents are advised to secure loose objects, avoid open fields during lightning, and stay informed.

- Nashik, Dhule, Nandurbar, and Jalgaon may receive rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
