MPSC To Shift Exam Centres In Pune Due To Overcapacity

The Maharashtra Subordinate Services Non-Gazetted Group B Combined Pre-Examination 2022 has received more than capacity applications at the Pune District Centre.

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) announced in a press release that among the candidates who have selected the Pune district center, candidates whose permanent residence is in a district or city outside of Pune will be admitted to their district centres.

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission will conduct the Maharashtra Subordinate Services Non-Gazetted Group B Combined Preliminary Examination 2022 on 8th October. The exam will be held at 37 district centers across the state. Although the candidates chose their preferred district centre while applying, as per the examination advertisement, the Pune district centre received more applications than the capacity of the candidates. Therefore, to facilitate the organization of the examination, among the candidates who have selected the Pune district centre, the candidates whose permanent residence address is outside the district or cities of the Pune district will be given admission to their district centre, MPSC stated.

It was also mentioned that the request to change the district center admitted under this arrangement could not be accepted for any reason and under any pretext.
