Backed by Nexus Venture Partners, Elecbits aims to build India’s “China+1” electronics hub with its full-stack AI platform, XOR
Elecbits Raises $5.5 Mn Series A To Drive Scale and Innovation
Electronics manufacturing startup Elecbits has raised $5.5 million (₹49.4 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from SE Ventures and Riverwalk Holdings.
The capital infusion will be deployed to scale Elecbits XOR, the company’s AI-powered engineering and manufacturing platform, while deepening in-house capabilities and supporting international expansion.
Building an AI-Powered Operating System for Hardware
Founded in 2019 by Saurav Kumar Singh and Nikhil Rawat, Elecbits has built a vertically integrated platform that offers end-to-end hardware solutions. Its proprietary system, Elecbits XOR, leverages AI to simplify hardware development, offering:
- Instant quoting
- Transparent supply chains
- Predictive risk management
This approach helps reduce delays and bottlenecks traditionally associated with electronics manufacturing.
Full-Stack Electronics Manufacturing, Simplified
Elecbits operates as a full-stack provider across the electronics supply chain, offering:
- Component sourcing
- PCB design, fabrication, and assembly
- Industrial design and firmware development
- Embedded testing and quality control
The company also offers turnkey manufacturing services, from prototyping to the final product, serving as a one-stop shop for electronics innovation.
Trusted by Industry Leaders Across Sectors
Elecbits has already earned the trust of over 200 companies, including giants like:
- Panasonic
- Schneider Electric
- Motherson
- Maruti Suzuki
- Urban Company
- OLA
- Valeo
- Zetwerk
These partnerships highlight the startup’s ability to serve both traditional manufacturers and emerging tech-first enterprises.
Riding India’s Electronics Manufacturing Boom
The funding comes at a time when India is ramping up electronics manufacturing, supported by government-led schemes like:
- Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme
- Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS)
In 2025, the government received investment proposals worth ₹1.15 Lakh Cr under ECMS — nearly double its original target. October saw approval of seven indigenous component projects worth ₹5,500 Cr, focusing on key areas like:
- Camera modules
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
- Display laminates
- Polypropylene films
Positioning India as the Global “China+1” Electronics Partner
Elecbits positions itself as a strategic ‘China+1’ alternative, offering reliable, AI-enabled manufacturing to global businesses seeking supply chain diversification. The company plans to build both digital and physical infrastructure that can support the country’s vision of becoming a global electronics powerhouse.
As co-founder Rawat put it:
“Electronics powers every modern innovation, yet building hardware has always been painfully slow. At Elecbits, we aren’t just driving the change – we’re engineering the operating system for India’s electronics future.”
