According to Google, ‘how to send stickers on WhatsApp’ was the most searched ‘how to’ in India in 2018. You can download sticker packs from WhatsApp, and you can also create your own stickers. WhatsApp has a native sticker maker feature for the first time. For Android and iOS, you must use third-party apps to make custom stickers. Currently, only the WhatsApp Web and Desktop apps can create custom stickers.
Here’s a tutorial on how to create stickers on the WhatsApp Web and Desktop apps.
- Launch WhatsApp on your laptop and open any chat.
- Choose the sticker option by tapping on the attach icon in the chat bar.
- From there, you’ll need to choose an image from your laptop or computer.
- After you select an image, the sticker maker tool will open.
- Afterwards, you can edit your sticker by adding emoji, text, doodles, etc.
- When you’re done, tap the send button and your sticker will be sent.
Additionally, you can find the sticker maker tool in the chat bar by tapping the emoji button. In this case, tap on the sticker icon, click Create, and follow the same steps to create a custom sticker. This is an easier way to create custom stickers without having to download another app.
