Redmi 10C debuts with Snapdragon 680 SoC

 

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has added yet another device to its lineup as part of its 10 series. Redmi launched the Redmi 10 2022 model, which is said to be launching in India and it has been launched in Nigeria as Redmi 10C. However, these devices have different specifications in terms of camera and display, but if you are in the market for a performance improvement, then Redmi 10 will be a great option.

Redmi 10C: Specifications

There is a water drop notch for the front camera on the newly launched Redmi 10C, with a 6.71-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and up to 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the device offers up to 128 GB of expandable onboard storage.

There is a 5,000mAh battery inside the Redmi 10C that can be charged at a rate of only 10 watts. Many smartphones come with 100 W+ charging capabilities this year, but the Redmi 10C only supports 10 W charging.

A 50 megapixel camera sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor are found on the back of the Redmi 10C. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

Redmi 10C: Price and availability

The Redmi Note 10C is priced at NGN 78,000, which is roughly Rs 14,235 in Indian currency for the variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and NGN 87,000 for the variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This device is available in Nigeria in Blue, Green and Black colour options.

This device is rumoured to launch in other markets including India as Redmi 10 smartphone.
