Book your tickets to Agra this March to attend the vibrant 10-day festival Taj Mahotsav. Earlier, the festival was scheduled to take place from February 18 to February 27. But now the dates have been rescheduled and the cultural festival will take place from March 20 to March 29. Taj Mahotsav celebrates India’s rich culture, cuisine, and handicrafts and aims to boost tourism at the destination. The Taj Mahotsav Committee organises the festival at Shilpgram near the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahotsav began in 1992. The festival will be celebrated in Agra for the 31st time in 2022. Taj Mahotsav attracts a large number of Indians as well as foreign tourists every year. Artisans From All Over India Showcase Their Works At The Festival

“Azadi ke amrit mahotsav ke sang, Taj ke rang” is the theme of Taj Mahotsav 2022. Taj Mahotsav is a platform for nearly 400 craftsmen from across the country to showcase their work. Besides classical music and folk dances, the festival features performances from all over India. Along with some of the tastiest desi delights, we can also taste some of the most authentic dishes from the remotest parts of Uttar Pradesh during the festival.
