Streamer xQc suffers $800K loss due to a glitch

xQc is considered one of Twitch’s biggest players and has amassed an unbelievably high following on the platform. The various controversial stunts he pulls on the platform have made him famous. Stream gambling has recently brought him into the spotlight, for which he accepts full responsibility. He has also come out to say that he is a gambling addict, but it is an ‘illness that he can afford’.

In addition, he has called out fans who mock him for his gambling content and taken to Discord to express his opinions. Additionally, he has said that he has lost around 2 million dollars to this gambling addiction. Unfortunately, in one of his recent gambling streams, he lost out on his $800k winnings, but this time it is not xQc’s fault.

A popular Twitch entertainer was recently spotted gambling on Stake.com, where he played the Wild Machine. A fortunate turn of events led to the streamer setting a new world record for the ‘Big Win’ title in the game. This win made a whopping $825k for xQc, but as he was ready to rejoice his win, the server suffered an error and all his winnings were lost through theĀ glitch.

Like anyone who would lose such an outrageous amount, xQc got frustrated and sad. In an attempt to see the silver lining, he noted that he would have lost the money anyway had he used it for gambling at other venues. A loss of $800k wasn’t as devastating to xQc as it would to an everyday person, of course, since he is a big personality.

Since he understands the repercussions of gambling, the streamer has come out to say that he does not want to be a role model to anyone. He is on the platform to have fun, and will continue gambling till the time it remains a fun activity for him. He has also stated that if people do not like the content he is streaming then maybe they should not watch it. xQc seems to know what he is doing, but many fans are worried that this gambling addiction should not be the reason for his downfall.
